it's sad that you think this way and/or you seem to know many people who do so. I still think you're in no position to take compliments for work that is not your own. I feel people don't seem to realize that (even though you state that it's an os' included wallpaper)
isfor the reasonthatwallpaperwas notavailable yet,was part ofthe updateofOSX, mostpeople have apcat home, nomac, very fewpeoplewho do good, you can checkyourself, useotherwallpapers, manydo not even citetheir source
all wallpapers from the newest mavericks update were published by various websites (osxdaily.com being one of them) only hours after the developer preview update of os x mavericks was made public ... so no need really to 'showcase' it on dA - and by showcase I mean putting it in that cinema display .psd
I'm basically just saying it's not necessary to take credit for someone else's work. however, lots of people do. which makes me sad. especially if it's on webpages that are there primarily not to share but to showcase one's work. and in particular I only criticized your behavior on peoples reactions on how marvelous that wallpaper/photo was - them clearly not knowing that it wasn't your work to begin with. you said 'thanks' a lot which I personally would only do if it was in fact my photo.
in addition you put that icon in the picture's description which clearly means you want people to notice it and add it to favorites which again means that you kind of want and like the fame and attention. and those customization groups the wallpaper was accepted by usually have a statement somewhere that they only accept art that is created by the submitting deviant.
